This 4 inch aperture remodeler recessed housing, made of industrial strength galvanized steel, is rated for both non-IC and IC (housing covered with ceiling insulation) for LED applications.

The housing's E26 medium base socket can be used with 50 watt halogen PAR20 in non-IC installations. The housing can also be used with 9 watt PAR20 LED and 7 watt PAR16 LED lamps in IC installations.
