EKE is a halogen specialty light bulb. The EKE specification include: 21 volt, 150 watt, 200 hour rated life, CC6 filament, vertical (plus or minus 45 degrees) base down operating position, MR16D quartz glass, dichroic reflector and GX5.3 bi-pin base.

The EKE is used in medical / scientific microscopes, photo printers and projectors. The EKE is a possible substitute for ANSI ENB.

EKE/X, the long life version of EKE, has a 1000 hour rated life with all other specifications the same.

Possible substitute: EJV (25 hour life, more heat).
